Privacy Notice

Scope and operator

This notice describes the current GoalAdvisor calculator website, provided under the GoalAdvisor brand. It does not replace the policies of the hosting or sign-in providers. Effective October 11, 2026.

Calculator inputs

The site’s calculator code computes results in your browser. The calculator application does not send those inputs to an application database, connect to financial accounts, or write them to local storage or cookies. It does not maintain a saved calculator profile. Browser features may restore form entries or retain pages, history, or autofill data independently of the application. On the dedicated calculator pages, Reset restores defaults and removes scenario parameters from the current URL; it does not erase earlier history, copies, or provider logs. Do not enter account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or identifying information.

Scenario links and printing

Copying a scenario link places your inputs after the # in the URL. URL fragments are not normally transmitted in HTTP requests to the server, but are visible to anyone who receives the link and may be retained in browser history, synced browsers, clipboard tools, or messaging services. The application does not encrypt or password-protect the values within a scenario link. Anyone who has the link can read them; HTTPS transport does not make a shared link confidential from its recipients. Printing or saving results creates a copy under your control. Older scenario links may contain inputs in the query string, which can appear in hosting logs; the page migrates those inputs to a fragment after loading, but cannot erase records already created.

Hosting, authentication, and technical data

The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. Hosting and sign-in providers may process IP addresses, device/browser information, requested URLs, timestamps, cookies, security logs, and account information under their policies. Private access may require authentication. The operator may receive account identity through site access administration. Provider retention, security, and deletion practices are governed by the applicable provider policies; this notice does not promise anonymous access or zero logging. See OpenAI’s privacy policy.

Analytics and third-party code

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, and page performance. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and says it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. Our analytics integration does not read calculator fields or send calculated results. It is disabled when the page loads with a query string or URL fragment, including shared calculator scenarios. These visits may therefore be missing from traffic totals. See Cloudflare Web Analytics information and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The application does not install advertising pixels, external fonts, or account-linking integrations. The contact form uses FormSubmit for message delivery as described above. This describes the application code, not all processing by the hosting platform. The operator does not sell calculator inputs or use them for targeted advertising.

Contact form

The contact form sends your optional name, email address, selected topic, and message to FormSubmit for delivery to hello@goaladvisor.com. FormSubmit’s documentation states that submissions are retained for 30 days. Its service and spam-verification providers may process technical data and cookies under their policies. Only the contact page sends the site origin as referrer information to support form delivery; calculator pages retain their no-referrer setting. The website does not add contact submissions to an application database or use them for marketing. Email copies are handled as described below. See FormSubmit’s privacy terms. Do not submit sensitive financial or identifying documents through the form.

Email correspondence

If you email GoalAdvisor, your email address, message, and attachments are processed by the email provider and received by the operator to respond to your request. Messages may be forwarded to the operator’s private inbox. Correspondence may be retained as needed to handle requests, maintain relevant records, and meet applicable obligations. This is separate from calculator inputs processed in your browser. Do not email passwords, account numbers, or sensitive financial documents. You may request deletion by emailing hello@goaladvisor.com; deletion is subject to applicable obligations and provider retention practices.

Choices and changes

Use hypothetical inputs and avoid sharing scenario links with sensitive amounts. Clear browser history or clipboard copies using your device controls. For privacy questions, contact hello@goaladvisor.com. Provider-managed account requests should be directed to the provider. This notice will be updated if the site’s features or data practices change.
